Meowdoku

I opened Meowdoku because the name kept showing up next to cat sudoku, and I wanted a board I could finish on a bus ride. The version I am writing about is the Oakever game: Android package com.oakever.meowdoku, listed as 10,000,000+ installs, and the iOS app Meowdoku! (id 6761760135), version 1.18.0 as of 20 September 2026. I checked both store pages on 2026-09-30.

The board is split into colored regions. I have to put exactly one cat in each region. Cats cannot share a row or a column, and they cannot touch, even at a corner. I get three hearts. A wrong tap spends one. The store text calls this a mix of Sudoku reasoning and Minesweeper deduction, and that matches what I felt: the regions behave like cages, and the no-touch rule behaves like a minefield of forbidden neighbors.

Freshness

I last compared these pages with the App Store version string and the Google Play listing on 2026-09-30. iOS showed version 1.18.0, about 390 MB, iOS 15 or later, rated 12+. Android showed ads and in-app purchases and an Everyone-style 3+ rating. If a store number moves after that date, the store page wins.
